Valley Orchard is a family-owned orchard and farm located in Cherry Valley, IL, serving the surrounding areas since 1977. We are an apple orchard specializing in apple picking, field trips, family outings, and group tours. We also offer a variety of farm fresh goods such as a variety of apples, local honey, jams, jellies, and more. Our Story

We’re Valley Orchard, a locally owned and operated apple orchard that has been serving the Cherry Valley community and surrounding areas since 1977. We’re a multi-generational family business that found opening a small orchard was the most effective way to produce specialty crops and share them with our friends in the community. Our family-owned orchard is well-kept and offers a personal and exciting experience for people of all ages. We hope you’ll come to spend the day with us and see everything our quaint and beautiful orchard has to offer.

At Valley Orchard, we take pride in cultivating a diverse selection of apple varieties that cater to every taste preference. From crisp and tangy to sweet and aromatic, our apples are handpicked at their peak of ripeness to ensure exceptional flavor and quality. The BEST apple cider donuts from any apple orchard in our area. I rushed in one minute to close to pick up my half-dozen. They melt in your mouth. You bite into the crunch of the cinnamon sugar, then the tender cake donut. Not too dense or heavy nor oily. The perfect texture. I feel sorry for all other apple orchards...

What a fun and cute little farm! Staff was so friendly, there was apple picking, lots of pumpkins. We loved that it was dog friendly. There was a food truck (offering Mexican food and hot dogs etc) A coffee shop inside, we had an apple cider slushy because it was hot outside for October. We also got a pumpkin iced coffee. Staff was very friendly. Donuts were delicious! We would come back!
